Join us for a BioBlitz at Goat Island Preserve! Become a citizen scientist for the day and help us discover the incredible biodiversity of the preserve.
A BioBlitz is a community science event where volunteers, naturalist and scientist work together to find and record as many plant, animal, and insect species as possible in a set period of time.
To participate, simply download the free iNaturalist app and use it to log your observations during the event. No experience needed- just bring your curiosity and love for nature!

Date & Time: Saturday, September 20th, 8:30am-11:30pm
Please Note: There are no restrooms at this preserve
What to Bring: Please bring your own water and snacks. Please wear closed-toed shoes, we recommend wearing long pants as well. Download the free iNaturalist app on your phone to participate!
