Description

Join Dallas County Parks and Open Space on Saturday, June 13th from 8:00AM - 10:00AM to help clean-up Post Oak Preserve! As one of the county’s most frequently visited preserves, Post Oak Preserve needs a little extra care to help maintain its natural beauty for everyone to enjoy. The Texas

The Texas Conservation Alliance will be joining us and providing native plants to help create a garden around our preserve sign. This garden will enhance biodiversity, reflect the native Post Oak Savannah ecosystem, and provide valuable food and habitat resources for local wildlife.

This is a great opportunity to get outside, stay active, and make a positive impact in the community. Whether you can volunteer for the full event or just stop by for a short time, we’d love to have your help. Sign up and join us in caring for this special natural space!

Why it matters? Removing litter from our preserves helps to restore natural habitats by preventing harmful materials from polluting ecosystems and from wildlife ingesting it. Plus, It keeps our preserves looking and feeling more connected to nature!
