Join us in removing tires from Goat Island Preserve! Years ago, tires were washed into the preserve and now lie in a dry channel off the tail. We need volunteers to help collect and move these tires to the trail, where Dallas County employees will transport them for proper disposal.
Volunteers are required to wear pants, closed-toed shoes, and gloves (gloves will be provided). We highly recommend wearing tall boots and long sleeves for added protection. A safety briefing will be provided to all volunteers at the start of the event. Your participation will make a huge difference in preserving the natural beauty of Goat Island Preserve!
